Life Restored
Spiritual resurrection
is gifted to you now.
Whatever part of you
or your life you thought
to be dead is being revived
and will flourish back into life.
Just as the Phoenix rises
from the frequency,
transitioning from death into life,
so too will you rise again,
healed and renewed.

Archetypes
The Underworld
This is no time to mince words: the archetypal territory of The Underworld is fraught with nightmares, suffering, and pain. It is the darkest shadow realm, which we try vigilantly to avoid or eny at any cost. Try as we might, the darkness pulls us into its depths through disturbing dream images, unexpected accidents, illness, war, conflict, and ultimately death. Not visiting The Underworld (or denying its existence altogether) is what gives it dangerous power. Traversing it forces us to bow humbly to the greater forces that be, while summoning the inner strength we previously underestimated. Take solace that The Underworld subsumes everyone from time to time, making us deeper friends, more intimate partners, soldiers of light amid our shadowy times. Facing darkness and choosing light is the most profound calling of all.
When light it is bravery, depth, facing of deepest fears.
When dark it is denial, suppression, evil, unconsciousness.

I Ching
24 – The Way of Invention
This hexagram is called Return, and combines the trigrams K’un and Chen, earth and thunder. We’re all addicted to something, although we do not see where these patterns spring from. Addiction is really misidentification – an identification with the form of the world. It’s an avoidance of the suffering on the inside. An addiction is a pattern of behaviour that temporarily suspends and delays feeling the discomfort or pain. Gravitation patterns trap and hold us down. Levitational patterns lift, elevate us up, clarifies our thinking and give us hope. Levity gives us a sense of purpose. But we have to be honest with ourself. What do we do to prevent ourselves from enjoying pauses? The siddhi is levity, and the shadow is gravity. ‘Returning’ to the roots allow us to change the pattern. Our creativity invites us to think about a pattern and reinvent it. It’s not something we do, it’s something that wells up from the unknown. So give it time to emerge from the silence and mystery. It will reshape your life from the inside out but first we need to be listening. The silence of space is alive with pulsing light and frequency, yet we keep returning into form, until we’ve polished our souls so they shine resplendent. This is a renewal process.
