Son of Coins
My mother gave me a sense of security and knowledge of growth processes. My father showed me how to add structure to my strength. My sister initiated me into the laws of metamorphosis.
Through being aware of old patterns, I avoided the habit of senseless cycles. I have taken off the armor of my forefathers. Feeling my way towards the inside, I have begun to loosen up the hardness of my muscles.
Using the way of Yogic wisdom I surrender to my body. My stereotypical world of ideas begins to dissolve. New connections are being made at the sacred bone at the end of my spine. Following the way of this power I feel the soft and the weak.
My boundaries are shifting. With respect and awareness I open myself towards new encounters.

The Village
The Village presents us with a conundrum. On one hand, it’s the place that feels most like home, the place to which you can always return. Nostalgia and comfort draw us back.
On the other hand, it’s the very place you must leave in order to grow. Around The Village an unspoken boundary exists, one most villagers do not want you to cross.
Though some support your leaving, still you hear whispers of doubt as you venture beyond its borders, leaving them behind. The energy of The Village is present anytime we feel restricted by a certain group, community, family, place, or ideology.
It may have served us in the past, yet staying within its parameters will never satiate our thirst for life. Thank The Village for all it has provided, knowing you will someday return. For now, the world awaits.
When light it is intimate, rooted, intergenerational, communal. When dark it is small-minded, gossipy, trapped, restricted.

61 – The Way of Inner Truth
This hexagram is called Inner Truth, and combines the trigrams sun and Tui, wind and marsh. This concerns the eventual transcendence of the mind. We are all psychotic in the sense that psychosis generally points towards a loss of touch with ordinary reality; the planes of reality that are far beyond what we generally refer to as ‘normal’. There is a precarious balance to be struck – if we go too far from our walking reality and are unable to return and integrate the experience, we may be labelled an unstable psychotic. But if we don’t even dare venture beyond the terrain of our mind, we’ll be a stable psychotic. Generally when we look around, we don’t see a world created by the heart, but rather one by the mind. It’s come about through greed, lust for power and fear of death. To find wisdom we have to give up knowledge. Wisdom is alive, vibrant, wild, spontaneous, illogical, paradoxical. This is a journey of unlearning. The secret to this is the healing power of creativity. It allows us to listen to that which comes from within, from beyond the veil, and to reimprint our awareness with its truth. Inspiration is playing with the music of creation. To be inspired means to be filled with the breath of life. This is the secret of how we can break out of our psychosis, we become a creator. Holy life begins with inspiration, then it becomes a life of higher striving and finally it becomes the life of self-emptying, in which all that we have learned is released.
